Q: You have a constant job offers, if there is anything you are trying to keep up.

I do my best to be needed. I feel like I'm getting stale somewhere. If you always focus on trying to get good evaluation from people, you will get stale.

Q: What did you do during the month off (lockdown)?

A: I practiced pen writing. The reason was I have to my name when I announced my marriage. I practiced for that. I wrote "Matsuzaka Tori" for a whole month. I couldn't get it right at all. I'm embarrassed ... but at least I'm glad I practiced pen writing.

Q: Does your wife being an actress affect your work?

Tori: Of course. I want to work more and more so as not to be embarrassing to her. I want to do works that will be respected by her.

Tori: The work I will doing this year is really difficult for me, I still can't figure it out, I don't really know how to play this role ...

Q: It's amazing to have courage to accept it!

Narita Ryo - Vogue Girl

Q: What kind of roles you like to play?

A: I admire Robert De Niro. "Taxi Driver, 1976" and the one with Meryl Streep, it's about war. (The Deer Hunter. 1978)

Any role will do as long as I can appear in that movie.

In Japan, Masatoshi Nagase's "The Most Terrible Time in My Life (1994)". I would like to do that. I told Nagase-san, please do it again.

"U think it's a big mountain but after u climbed it, there's a bigger mountain" This job is a series of things like that.

I really have no goals, so I'm not exhausted. When u can enjoy climbing without having to climb to sth. That's when u really like your work.

Tori: When I was in junior high, I went to see" Spirited Away" at a cinema. During the screening, fire alarm went off and the movie was interrupted. I watched it again later with a free ticket. So, even as an adult, every time I watch reruns, I get a special feeling.

Tori: Otaku friends are not so much as a friend, but "nakama-s". People who have come together because of a common hobby and hold a piece of beautiful memory from that time. Everyone is an irreplaceable treasure.

Favorite person: Hanyu Yuzuru. Figure skating feels like a battle on the rink. I want to ask him how he controls his courage to overcome while being under pressure of not being able to fail. The only way for me to clear the pressure is to do the best for the time being but that's not the case with figure skating. No matter how much you practice, anything can happen on the rink. I wonder how to control the mentality for the one-shot games.

Favorite Parts: I think my big nails are unique. People notice that my nails are long and large. That's why I could never use a stand-in for my scenes with hands. I have to do everything myself. (lol)

Tori Matsuzaka & Taiga Nakano for Cinemore

Taiga: I know Tori-kun, but he never shows his approach to the role. He has an image that never shows how he got to the role and faced it, but that's wonderful. I'm sure he makes an unimaginable effort behind the scenes. But I feel "I don't know Tori" because he doesn't show the process, and every time I'm surprised that "He has such a face."

Tori: Taiga is doing a hundred battles, isn't he? He has the image of working with many people, experiencing various things at various sites. For each work, he always faces with a fresh taste, "Is it like this, this time?". His "Color" is amazing.

Tori: Stage, serial drama, movie, special drama ... he's doing all genres. But, the ability to "make people like his role" is outstanding. I find it really attractive. In "Yutori desu ga nani ka? (2016)". Yamagishi was a little bad but in the end I fell in love with him (lol).
